Matt Elliott brings nearly 25 years of coaching experience to Salina to lead the Sliders in their first season at Dean Evans Stadium.
In addition to serving as head coach for a couple of high schools, Elliott has served as the head coach at the NCAA DII and NAIA levels, and as an assistant at DI and junior college levels.
He began his coaching career as a graduate assistant from 1990 – 1993 at Fort Hays State University.
Elliott is familiar with Salina having served as the head coach for the Salina Blue Jays in the Walter Johnson league in 2007.
